Australian Work Cover Approved First Aid Course

Emergency First Response First Aid at Work-Asia Pacific is a CPR and first aid course specifically designed to meet workplace requirements in the Asia Pacific region. Occupational health and safety legislation in many countries stipulate that businesses must have first aid trained personnel on staff and the Emergency First Response First Aid at Work (Asia Pacific) course can be used to meet this requirement.

EFR First Aid at Work (Asia Pacific) currently meets the requirements in all Australian states (WorkCover NSW approval #01346).

   6. Management of soft tissue injuries
   7. Strains & sprains
   8. Management of eye injury
   9. Management of electrical injury including burns and scalds
   10. Management of common medical emergencies including heart attack, shock, asthma, epilepsy and diabetes
   11. Head and chest injury management
   12. Management of casualties suffering from extreme environmental exposure
   13. Accident-related first aid
       - Crushed patient accident
       - Traffic accident
       - Near drowning accident
       - Scuba diving related accident
3. Illness First Aid
   1. How to conduct an illness assessment
4. Venomous Bites and Stings First Aid
   1. General information for venomous bites and stings
   2. Snakes and reptile bites
   3. Spider bites
   4. Tick bites
   5. Scorpion stings
   6. Bee, wasp, ant stings and bites
   7. Octopus bites and cone shell stings
   8. Fish spine injury

Schedule
1 full day - 10:30 to 18:00
or
2 evenings - 19:00 to 23:00
